Ottumwa RAGBRAI Vendor Information May 18, 2009
OTTUMWA-Local businesses and non-profit groups who will be vendors for
RAGBRAI® on Thursday, July 23 are reminded of the early bird
application deadline of June 2. Early bird rates for residents of
Wapello County are:
Youth Vendor $100
Non-profit $150
Profit $250
Out of county non-profit and profit are $300 and $500 respectively.
There is still room for vendors on Church St. near Bridge View Center,
at the campgrounds in Ottumwa Park and at Central Park. Electricity is
available for a fee and water will be provided at no charge.

The fee for youth vendors may be waived in exchange for performing a
"sweat equity" project before or after the RAGBRAI® event. Youth
vendors are high school age and under that set up vending spaces in
Central Park and/or the campgrounds. Youth applicants should indicate
"sweat equity" on their vendor application. Youth vendors will submit a
check for the vendor fee. When the "sweat equity" project is complete,
the check will be returned. A coordinator will contact youth vendors to
arrange a project.
